First draft down. This is the big money league, and it also involves beating my younger brother and all of his friends so it’s a pretty big deal.

First year.

Aaron Judge was the obligatory Yankees homer move since El Gary and #GREGBIRD were already got.

You’ll also note that Danny Espinosa isn’t actually on the team. Because, well, he can’t hit so good.

Day after thoughts:

I’m actually rather happy with this. I think I did real well in the early rounds, and the middle rounds were a little OF-heavy, but I think every pick is defensible. Taillon was probably a reach, but he did real well for me last year (in a different league) and his stuff has played really well in the bigs so far. Realmuto was probably unnecessary, but a catcher is always a good trade chip to have.

I’m riding one some things breaking my way with the pitching staff, specifically Bedrosian, Wacha, and Kelley. I’m not really worried about Wacha making the rotation given the Reyes injury, but I dunno if I trust Scioscia to not go back to Street over Bedrosian because “The Closer is the closer because he’s the closer” and who the hell knows what will happen with Kelley and Glover.

I’m also real happy that I don’t have to root for other AL East teams, for the most part. That was a big problem previously.
